ABOUT GUY PICKEN

Guy has been a CEO of businesses ranging in value between AUD$150Million and AUD$1.3Billion for the last 17 years, working in family, private equity and publicly traded environments. In the last ten years, these businesses have averaged a return on capital of 34%.

Guy’s experience includes the selling of existing companies, starting up new companies from scratch and acquiring existing business valued between $10 Million and $150 Million.

His capacity to lead and inspire teams has resulted in many turnarounds, most notably from a $13 Million loss to $33 Million profit in 4 years, totally organically. Then growing this business to an $80 Million profit in the next 5 years including a large and several small acquisitions. He also led a team to improve the enterprise value of a business by $514 Million over 5 years.

In essence, Guy is a highly numerate and strategic leader capable of identifying future business trends and pro-actively transforming strategy, operations and culture to neutralise threats and boost profitability.
